MAKE A BIG YUKIDARUMA

Hello minna~ my name is Rizky Dwi Ananda, I am an Indonesian student who got the chance to experience this wonderful exchange life in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan for 4 months.

Miyazaki is a prefecture in the south part of Japan (in Kyushu Island) and is popular of its warm climate. But it doesn’t mean that snow doesn’t fall here. Miyazaki can be 2 very different vibes in winter. In the north (Gokase) it snows a lot so that you can try playing ski because the last ski resort in the south of Japan is in Miyazaki! and in the south (Kushima, Nichinan, Miyazaki city) it is very warm and has beautiful beaches.

Miyazaki South Vibes

Three weeks before leaving this prefecture, I got chance to visit some Tourist Spot here. I visited Miyazaki Shrine, Saitobaru burial mounds, Sadowara castle, Cape Toi, Udo Jingu, Aoshima island, and Obi Castle with my Liason Person (LP). I did not only visited but also learned a lot of history about this prefecture, it turned out that the facts sprung up and made me amazed by it. The relationship between Kagoshima prefecture and people in Sadowara City, more than 300 burial mounds in Saito City to the story that the Japanese first empire has a close history with Miyazaki.

MY LP EXPLAIN TO ME THE HISTORY
Burial Mounds

Miyazaki is a quiet place, surrounded by friendly people and beautiful views of the mountains and plantations. This area is perfect for people who do not really like the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy peace like me. The culture that is still very thick, making me really enjoy the existing culture.
